FACULTY POSITIONS
IIMK invites applications for Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in the following areas.
Finance, Accounting & Control
Marketing
Organisation Behavior and Human Resource Management
Operations Management and Quantitative Methods
Information Technology & Management
Economics
International Business and Management
Strategic Management
Business Environment and International Laws
Candidates must have Ph.D degree or its equivalent with consistently good academic records. They should have at least 10 years/ 8 years/ 3 years experience in teaching/research/industry for appointment at the level of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor respectively. The candidates should have demonstrated ability to make their intellectual contributions accessible to experienced managers through teaching, training and published work. Candidates must have a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in the related field. Faculty members are responsible for carrying out academic/industrial research, designing and teaching courses, conducting continuing-education programs, web-based education, institution development and consultancy.
The scales of pay associated with the positions are: Professor (Rs. 18,400 - 500 - 22,400), Associate Professor (Rs. 16,400-450-20,000), and Assistant Professor (Rs. 12,000 - 420 - 18,300). Positions carry usual allowances and perquisites as available in the IIMs. The Institute also provides opportunities for consulting etc.
