NTPC, India’s largest power company with an installed capacity of 29, 394 MW is presently operating 15 coal based, 7 gas based power stations and 4 joint ventures. NTPC contributed around 28.5% of the country's entire power generation during the year 2007-08 and plans to become a 75,000 MW power company by 2017. NTPC has moved ahead in diversifying its portfolio to emerge as an integrated power major with presence across the entire energy value chain. NTPC has been allocated 6 coal mine blocks which are expected to produce 48 million tons per annum.
How to apply:-
Interested eligible candidates should log on to our website: www.ntpc.co.in/jobs or http://ntpc.timesjobs.com/ for applying. No other means / mode of application shall be accepted. Candidates are required to possess a valid email ID. NTPC will not be responsible for bouncing back of any email sent to the candidates. Last date for on-line receipt of applications is 7th July, 2008.
An eligible candidate can apply for more than one post /level in an area, if he/she may be suitable for more than one post/level/area. An application fee of Rs. 200/- for each post/level applied for, is payable by the candidates belonging to GEN/OBC categories. On submission of a valid application online, a registration ID will be generated.
Instruction for candidates belonging to GEN/OBC categories: Download the registration ID slip and send it compulsorily alongwith a recent passport size photograph and Application fee of Rs. 200/- [through DD in favour of “NTPC Limited” payable at New Delhi].
Instruction for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories: Download the registration ID slip and send it compulsorily alongwith a recent passport size photograph and a copy of SC/ST/PWD certificate.
Registartion ID alongwith enclosures as above to be sent by post to: Recruitment Group, NTPC Limited, Post Bag No. 004, Lodhi Road Head P.O., New Delhi 110 003. The name and the registration ID should be mentioned at the back of the Demand Draft or SC/ST/PWD certificate as applicable, the Advertisement No. (03/08) and the post applied for should be super-scribed on the left hand corner of the envelope.
The last date of receipt of registration slip by post alongwith Passport size photograph and DD/Certificates (as applicable) is 14th July, 2008.
