The Dubai Internet City has picked up Kochi to set up a Smart City project
The proposed Smart City is likely to generate direct employment for 80,000 people and provide indirect employment to another 20,000 people.
The foundation stone has finally been laid to mark the start of construction at the $408m Smart City Kochi project, a tie-up between the government of Kerala and SmartCity, a joint venture between Tecom Investments and Sama Dubai.
