COUNSELLING CALL LETTER FOR ADMISSION UNDER NRI CATEGORY
With reference to the application for admission to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. in Anna University Chennai (CEG/ACT/SAP/MIT), you are directed to attend the counseling on 20.6.2008 at Briefing Hall, Entrance and Examinations Building for verification of relevant certificates. If the candidate is unable to attend, Parent/ Guardian can bring the documents with an authorization letter from the candidate.
Provisional admission will be given by counseling based on the ranking and availability of seats subject to the satisfactory production of the following documents:
1. Recent NRI status certificate of the sponsor issued by the respective
Embassy with their seal. (in original)
2. Employment Certificate of the sponsor.In the case of self employment, nature of business, annual income and required proof. (in original)
3. Certificate showing the relationship of the sponsor to the candidate
(in original)
4. Proof of NRI Bank account of the sponsor.
5. Copy of the Passport of the sponsor
6. Qualifying Mark list of the candidate; if the grades are produced,
Certificates showing equivalent marks to grades should be submitted.
7. Certificate showing that the candidate has undergone the respective
Course in English medium (in original)
8. Copy of PIO/OCI card of the sponsor (if applicable)
9. Transfer Certificate
10. Medical Certificate (If not submitted along with the application)
You are directed to bring D.D for US $ 9000/ US $ 7500 drawn in favour of the Director, Centre for International Affairs, Anna University Chennai payable at New York, as annual fee payable for the UG programme, if provisional admission is offered.
Note: If the above certificates are not produced on 20.6.2008, the candidate will not be
permitted to attend the counseling.
