Five year Integrated P.G. Programme M. Sc in Chemistry
Entrance Test & Admission Notification – 2008 – 2009
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Five Year (10
Semester) Integrated P.G. Programme M. Sc. in Chemistry (FYIPGPC) offered by
Osmania University at Nizam College, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad for the academic year
2008-2009.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10+2 education (Intermediate or equivalent
with MPC , BPC or MBPC groups) as recognized by Board of Intermediate Education,
AP with a minimum of 50% marks (a pass mark is sufficient for (SC / ST Candidates)
are eligible to apply.
Admission Criteria: Admission is based on merit at the entrance test to be conducted
by Osmania University.
Application form and prospectus are available in the University Publications &
Press, Osmania University Campus and at Nizam College, Basheerbagh on
Payment of Rs.200/-. Candidates can also obtain the application form by post from the
Director, Osmania University Press, Hyderabad – 500 007 by sending a Demand Draft
for Rs. 200/- in favour of the Director, Osmania University Press alongwith a selfaddressed
envelope (size 10” x 14”) with postal stamps worth Rs.52 /- affixed.
Submission of Application Form: Students are advised to submit filled in forms to the
Director, Directorate of Admissions, O.U. Hyderabad.
Important Dates: (1) Sale of application forms: from 04–06-2008 to 26-06-2008.
(2) Last date for submitting the application forms without late fee:20-06-2008 up to
4.00 p.m. (3) With a late fee of Rs. 100/- :26-06-2008 up to 4.00 p.m. (4) Tentative date
of entrance test: 06-07-2008 ( 10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
