Foundation Course – 1st year
* Biomedical Basis of Disease (Integrated Teaching in Medicine) * General Pharmacology, organization and functions of various systems including drug used in the management of various diseases * Preclinical, toxicity studies, evaluation of drugs and Indian regulatory framework * Drug discovery and Development * Clinical Data Management
Clinical Research Modules – 2nd year
* Experimental Methods I: Research Design and Methodology * Experimental Methods II: Advanced Design and Analysis * Business Management and Health Economics * Preclinical Evaluation * Research Governance and Ethics * Clinical Evaluation I: Practical and Scientific Perspectives of Translational Medicine * Clinical Evaluation II: Commercial Aspects and Implications Affecting Clinical Research * Clinical Evaluation III: Regulatory Requirements and Seeking Approval * Clinical Evaluation IV: Clinical Research – Marketing Interface Research Project * Site visits to pharma industries, Clinical Research Organisations, Site Management Organisations and BA/BE units and also hospitals where trials are being conducted. * Industry training in India/Cranfield U.K., – months * Project thesis conducted on the job lasting for months also known as training ship.
* M.Sc degree is awarded by Cranfield University U.K. & is not recognised by AICTE/UGC or any other State Act.

Eligibility
Minimum eligibility criteria for application to the course would be either of the following:
* A postgraduate or graduate in Bioscience/Life Sciences (with any of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotech) with at least 50% marks in aggregate * A postgraduate or graduate with Chemistry as a subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate * A postgraduate or graduate in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences * A postgraduate or graduate in Medicine * A graduate or equivalent degree/diploma in Nursing
Selection Procedure
To maintain high academic standard, the Institute gives due importance to the quality of students enrolled. To ensure this, the selection of individual student will undergo the following procedure:
* Written examination * Personal interview * Screening and selection of students based on merit
