INFORMATION SHEET FOR ADMISSION TO M.TECH. in MOLECULAR ENGINEERING : CHEMICAL SYNTHESIS & ANALYSIS (Prog.Code CYM)
The Deptt. of Chemistry is starting a new 2-year M.Tech. Programme in “Molecular Engineering : Chemical Synthesis & Analysis” from July,2008. Candidates with a valid GATE score ( minimum 300 for General/OBC and 200 for SC/ST/PD) should apply if they satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or its subdisciplines with 60% marks in aggregate of all years/semesters or C.G.P.A. of 6.75 on a 10 point scale, as determined by IIT Delhi. Further, candidates should have a Bachelor degree ( with chemistry as a subject for at least two years or four semesters) and Mathematics at the 10+2 level to be eligible to apply for admission.
Candidates should apply on a prescribed form downloadable from www.iitd.ac.in from 13th June 2008. Candidates can take a printout to fill the form and send the completed form to the following address along with a demand draft from any nationalized bank (Rs. 300/- for GEN / OBC & Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/PD) drawn in favour of “Registrar, IIT Delhi” payable at Delhi so as to reach on or before 27th June 2008.
