Job Skills
CSQA is preferred
4-6 years of relevant experience with at least 1-2 years in Software project execution related activities with a good exposure to the SDLC phases and at least 3-4 years experience in SQA / Quality Process improvement functions (with a CMMI level 3/4/5 company or IT captives)
Thorough understanding and experience of designing/deploying software measurement system for different project types (Development, Maintenance/Support & Testing)
Thorough understanding of SDLC concepts, project management techniques and exposure of different lifecycle models (Waterfall, Iterative/Agile etc.)
Experience of participating in formal / informal organizations process maturity assessment or internal quality audits
Ability to effectively communicate, facilitate, convince and influence people at different levels in the hierarchy.
Effective change management skills
Ability to conduct trainings effectively.
Keen learner
Roles and Responsibilities
Build buy-in of the delivery management on the processes and measurement system.
Work with the project team, LOB tech organizations and assist the team in defining the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)for the project and also the performance benchmarks in-line with the org. benchmarks.
Ensure all software project teams make a comprehensive and reasonable project plan in line with the organizational standards and appropriate tailoring suiting project specific needs. Ensure that it is done within agreed timeframe and is revised on trigger basis or periodically.
Facilitate the implementation of new/modified process in software projects.
Should be able to demonstrate improvement in cost, quality, speed and other KPIs over period of time.
Participate in the process improvements
Metrics analysis and reporting at the project level. Consolidate the Metrics data on a periodic basis, baselines and report the process performance to the sr. management.
Facilitate management reviews of software projects
Conduct process audits and work product audits for software projects.
Conduct process trainings.
Facilitate learning's across projects.
Ensure timely and systematic closure of projects.
Experience: 4 - 7 yrs
Education:Any professional degree
Work Location:- Hyderabad.
