Sealed Quotations are invited from suppliers, manufacturers, dealers etc. for supply of (1) Some minor Laboratory equipment for the Department of Chemical Sciences and (2) Exhaust hood (vent) for ICP-OES for the Department of Environmental Sciences.
Specifications and terms and conditions are given below.

Exhaust Hood (Vent) for PerkinElmer Optima 2100 DV ICP-OES System:
i) Vent size: Width: 30.6 cm(12 in), Depth: 15.3 cm(6 in) and Height: 30.6cm(12in)
ii) The venting system should provide flow rate of at least 5660 L/ min(200CFM)
iii) The temperature of the exhaust gases upon exiting the instrument are about 2000 C at
1500 watts of RF power.
Terms & Conditions:
1. The rates should be quoted along with specifications and supporting documents (technical details and brochures etc.).
2. Quotation for each department should be submitted in separate cover indicating the name of the Department.
3. Quotations should be accompanied by-
i. A call deposit (earnest money) amounting to Rs. 3,000/- pledged in favour of
the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur.
4. The rates should be exclusive of taxes and applicable tax % should be clearly indicated.
5. The University is exempted from Custom & Excise duty.
6. Terms and Conditions of supply should be clearly indicated in the quotations.
7. The supplier should be in a position to deliver and install the ordered items within the stipulated time mentioned in the supply order.
8. Items must be delivered at Napaam campus of the University at the cost of the supplier.
9. The rates should be valid at least for a period of one year.
10. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason.
11. Applications should be forwarded to the Registrar for release of call deposit against unaccepted quotations.
12. No separate tender paper will be issued from the office; one should only download the specifications from the web site.
