Sealed tenders are invited from experienced and reputed Civil Contractors for the
following.
Work of Construction of Compound Wall on North Side behind P.V. Polytechnic at Juhu
Campus.
The detailed tender forms are available for down loading at sndt.digitaluniversity.ac
The cost of the tender form for Rs.1,000/- (non-refundable DD payable in the Name of
the Registrar, Mumbai) to be submitted alongwith the filled in tender The University
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders either in whole or in part without
assigning any reasons thereof.

Madam,
We have pleasure in submitting herewith our Tender for the above mentioned works,
duly completed in all respects.
1) We agree to complete the proposed works within One (1) CALENDER MONTHS
from the date of commencement, as mentioned in the Appendix.
2) We agree to execute and complete the proposed works at the rates quoted in
the ‘Bills of Quantities and Rates’, herewith.
3) We are enclosing herewith a Crossed Cheque / Demand Draft for Rs. 5,000/-
(Rupees ten thousand Only) (Must be on any Nationalized Bank / Scheduled
Bank) in the favour of The REGISTRAR S.N.D.T. WOMEN’s UNIVERSITY, MUMBAI, as
“Earnest Money”, which amount is not to bear any interest. We agree that this
amount shall be forfeited in the event of any evasive refusal or delay in signing
the contract, when called upon to do so.
4) We have inspected the site of works and acquainted ourselves with the local
conditions. We will not claim any extra amounts for reason arising out of site
condition. Rates quoted by us include all such eventualities.
5) The rates quoted in the tender shall be valid for three months from the date of
opening of the tender.
6) Last date for submission of fully completed tender documents is 24/12/2007
