National Seminar on Advanced Nanomaterials and its applications during

PREAMBLE
Significant developments in the field of Nanoscience and Technology have been taken place in the last decade. Many novel ideas for the synthesis of various exotic nanostructures have also evolved. Some of the synthesized nanomaterials are already finding applications in various fields such as catalysis, photovoltaic, optics, and nanoelectronics, only to mention a few. Extensive research is going on multifunctional nanomaterials such as carbon nanostructures, oxide nanostructures, nanocomposites, bio-nano interface etc. Presently significant amount of research activities is going on in various national laboratories, research institutes and Universities in our country. The aim of this national conference on the “Advanced Nanostructured materials” is to provide a platform to the active scientists, teachers, students and scholars as well as industries for exchanging ideas on the latest developments of various aspects of nano-dimensional research.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Authors are invited to submit one page of Abstract of the Technical Paper, typed in MS Word, Single Spaced using Times New Roman font of 12 point Size. The Abstract should be submitted through email to nanoconju@gmail.com After the review and acceptance of the Abstract, the authors will be required to submit the full length paper in prescribed format. The Paper would be limited to six pages including Figures and Tables.
IMPORTANT DATES
Receipt of Abstract : June 10, 2008
Acceptance of Abstract : June 20, 2008
Submission of Full Paper : July 7, 2008
Acceptance of Full Paper : July 15, 2008

REGISTRATION
The registration fees for attending the conference is as follows:
Delegates from Academic Institution/Industry : Rs.1000/-
Students : Rs. 500/-
Please fill-up the Registration form and send us by post or e-mail. Payment towards Registration Fees should be made by demand draft in favour of 'ANM08JU' payable at Kolkata.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation in the University guesthouse is limited and could be made available to the registered delegates on first come first served basis. Organizers will extend the necessary assistance in securing suitable accommodation in nearby guesthouses and hotels on request by the registered delegates well in advance. The charges are to be borne by the delegates.
