Opening for Senior Java/J2EE engineer
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide technical leadership to a project team. This includes the analysis of use cases and requirements, brainstorming, design and implementation of new software, should be able to influence non-subordinates and work with matrix managers
• Review and analyze use cases and requirements. Propose, design and implement solutions along with estimates that meet the use cases and requirements.
• Write production quality code in Java and J2EE while meeting implementation deadlines.
• Help define, document and review processes to help in the smooth roll out of a release in production.
• A passion for hands-on technical problem solving.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pure Java and J2EE technologies including WL and WAS application server knowledge.
• Web applications architecture, technologies & configurations.
• OOD/OOP methodologies including design patterns.
• Unit testing/TDD familiarity
• Struts framework experience
• Good knowledge of XML processing.
• Good knowledge of Databases and SQL (Oracle Preferred)
