KMCT Dental Clinic
Established in 2006, KMCT Dental College is the second self-financing Dental College under University of Calicut. With its most-modern facilities including a full-fledged dental clinic and excellent team of faculty, the college has attracted the cream of students aspiring to be skilled dental surgeons who will ultimately apply their knowledge of dentistry in the best interest of the patient and community maintaining a high standard of professional ethics. In addition to basic clinical training, the college gives a definite thrust on the research and development of new aspects of dentistry.
Course Offered
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is 5.5 years including one year rotating internship.
Eligibility
Successful completion of Plus Two course in Science subjects with 50% marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry is required. Admission is based on the list published by the Govt. Entrance Commission for the Merit Quota and as per their existing rules for the management quota.
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students shall be given relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility
Selection Procedure
Selection of students will be based on the entrance examination conducted by the commissioner for entrance examination
Age Requirement
The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year in which he/ she seeks admission.
