ABOUT THE COURSE Our MBA programme offers one of the widest range of electives for the Full-Time programme. Our MBA (PART-TIME programme) does not interrupt one's career while doing the course as it is not essential to stay away from work for long. Apart from group discussions and case studies additional emphasis is laid on personality development. AREA OF SPECIALIZATION Marketing Management, Personnel Management, Production and Materials Management, Financial Management, Advanced Operations Research, Management Information Systems and Electronic Data Processing, Industrial Management, etc. DURATION The course for Full-time students shall extend over a period of two academic years consisting of four semesters. The duration of the Part-Time will be three years consisting of six semesters. MODE OF SELECTION Short-Listed candidates will have to undergo an aptitude test. Final selection will be based on their marks in the qualifying exam, performance in the aptitude test, group discussion and the final interview. ELIGIBILITY for Full time-2 years: Any degree recognised by Anna University or any other University recognised by Anna University as equivalent thereto ELIGIBILITY for Part time-3 years: The Canditate should have Bachelor's Degree of Anna University or of any other University recognised by Anna University as Equivalent thereto, with atleast 2 years of work experience after gradution in a Middle Management / Supervisory cadre. In order to make it convenient for the students seeking admission to various institutions of the Hindustan Group, certain common policies and procedures have been laid out. This is irrespective of the course or the institution. Policies enumerated herein are subject to change. 4 Application for admission to a course should be made only in the prescribed form, which will be sent along with the prospectus. 4
Application forms properly filled in should be sent only to admission Office or handed over in person along with (1) a Xerox Copy of the mark sheet of qualifying examination attested by a Gazetted Officer (2) Prescribed Registration Fee. Registration Fee can be paid in cash at the Admission Office or by DD in favour of the respective institution. 4
All students including Foreign Nationals and NRIs seeking admission to any course should attach a Xerox copy of the mark sheet of qualifying examination and proof of age, duly attested along with the Application. The candidate should produce authentic Certificate indicating the corresponding marks for each grade in mark sheet. 4
Applications, which are incomplete or not accompanied by the prescribed documents and Registration fee are liable for rejection. 4
The Scrutiny Committee will process the Applications and provisionally select the students after interview, if necessary and on merit. Applicants from distant places may be selected on the basis of merit without interview. 4
Short - listed candidates for the MBA/B.Arch./Pilot Training program will have to attend an aptitude test. Final selection will be based on their marks in the qualifying examination, performance in the aptitude test and group discussion and interview. 4
If any candidate is found to have secured admission by fraudulent methods like presentation of forged certificates, cheques etc., he/she will be dismissed from the college at any time during the course and will forfeit the fees paid. 4
Admission notices will be sent to the selected candidates intimating the dates on which they should report at the Admission Office with the following Original Certificates and remit the prescribed fees in full 4 Mark sheet of the qualifying examination and pass certificate. 4 Transfer Certificate 4 Conduct Certificate 4 4 Pass port size colour photographs 4 Any other document required
After scrutiny of the documents and payment of fees in full, candidates will be issued 'Letter of Admission' and they should report to Principal of the respective colleges for joining the course. Students who have opted for Hostel accommodation will report to the Manager of the Hotels in the College for allotment of room. Foreign Nationals and NRIs should produce the following original documents at the time of joining the courses. The date of joining will be intimated in advance
* Mark sheet / Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination * T.C From the institution last studied. * Conduct Certificate * Passport and Visa in originals. * Eligibility certificate from the University of Madras (Necessary assistance will be provided by the institution for obtaining Eligibility Certificate) * 4 copies of pass port size colour photographs. * 'No Objection Certificate' from the Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi (the Prescribed form will be given to the students after admission and the college will take necessary action for obtaining NOC) (applicable for Foreign Nationals). * Certificate from the Employer abroad where the parent is working (applicable for NRIs)
After scrutiny of the above documents and on payment of the prescribed fees, the student will report to the Principal, with the 'Letter of Admission' and join the course. Students who have opted for Hostel accomodation will report to the Manager of the Hostels in the College for allotment of room. HOSTEL ACCOMODATION
Candidates who wish to have hostel accommodation should intimate Admission Office at the time of Provisional Admission, failing which hostel accommodation is not guaranteed. TRANSPORT FACILITIES:
The College provides Transport Facilities for the students to reach the college and back. Students interested of availing this facility should inform Admission Office at the time of provisional admission and pay the prescribed fees. NOTE
At the time of admission, the rules governing the criteria for entry will be subject to the guidelines of the AICTE / University /DOTE/DGCA etc. The student is required to comply with all such criteria as laid down from time to time by the above authorities.
