MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST-(MET) and MASTER OE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS ENTRANCE TEST-(PRE-MCA)-2008
M.P. Professional Examination Board, Bhopal will conduct an Entrance Tests for admission to AICTE approved MCA/MBA courses in the state of Madhya Pradesh for the academic session beginning 2008-20,09.
Date of Examination:(SUNDAY) 06-07-2008.
MET: (Forenoon session - 09.00 A.M. to 12.00 P.M)
PRE-MCA :( Afternoon session - 02.00 P.M, to 04.15 P.M)
Examination Cities: Bhopal, Gwailor, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, and, Ujjain.
Eligibility:
For MET: MET and Allied Courses should be a Graduate or post Graduate with at least 50% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC category) in aggregate of any UGCVAICTE approved Indian University or from a Foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The Bachelor's degree must be of minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) year system or equivalent.
For Pre-MCA: For MCA Course a candidate should be a Graduate of any UGO AICT.E approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AJU) or institute recognised by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The Bachelor's degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an additional subject at either Higher Secondary (10+2) or at Graduation level Note: Candidates in the Final year of any degree examination can also appear in the MET-2008 test' Pre-MCA-2008 test on provisional basis, such candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/mark sheet of the final year of the degree examination at the time of Counselling,
How To Apply:
Availability of Application Form: The Application Forms and Rule Book can be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 750/- for Pre-MCA, Rs. 1100/- for MET and Rs 1500/- for both Pre-MCA and MET (which includes test fee also) from (a) cash MPPEB counter and designated institutions from 29-05-2008 to 10-06-2008.

By-Post: Farms can be obtained from M.P. Professional Examination Board office by submitting a request latter accompanied by an account payee Bank Draft/Bankers Cheque of Rs, 800/- for Pre-MCA, Rs. 1150/- for MET and Rs 1600/- for both Pre- MCA and MET (which includes test fee also) drawn in favour of "M.P. Professional Examination Board, Bhopal of any Nationalized Bank payable at Bhopal. The application form shall be sent to the candidate by post. Such a request letter should reach M.P. Professional Examination Board on or before I0-06-2008.
Candidates can apply online through the website of the Board www.vyapam.nic.in or www.mponline.gov.in on payment of Examination Fee Rs. of Rs. 800/- for Pre-MCA, Rs. 1150/- for MET and Rs 1550/- for both Pre-MCA and MET (which includes test fee also) by credit card or cash through given Authorised Kiosk List on the mponline website from 29-05-2008 to 16-06-2008.
Important Dates: Last date of receipt of duly filled/ completed Application Forms at M.P.P.E.E., Bhopal 16-06-2008.
IMPORTANT: Applicants must ensure that the OMR application form has been
correctly and clearly filled and no column has been left blank especially those columns which are marked with asterik.
INFORMATION REGARDING REJECTION:-
-After the submission of the application form there is no provision of correction/ rectification in the entries of the application form. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
-The information regarding acceptance/rejection of an application form will be made available on the website of die Board, www.vyapam.nic.in as mentioned in the Rule.
