Maximum duration for passing various courses

The university has prescribed the maximum duration for passing various courses:-
For all courses which are having duration of one year, the maximum time permitted is 3 years. For all courses which are having duration upto 3 years, the maximum time permitted is double the duration. For the courses having duration more than 3 years, the maximum time permitted is 2n-1 years, where n is the duration of the course.
Further, it has been decided to allow the old batch of students who have already completed the maximum duration of the course, to write their arrear examinations upto May/June 2009 as a one time measure.

B.Ed/M.Ed/PG Diploma/Certificate,etc. - 1 Year - 3 Years
M.A/M.Sc/M.Com/M.B.A./LL.M./M.Tech./ M.V.Sc. etc. - 2 years - 4 years
B.A/B.Sc/B.Com./B.F.A/B.B.A/B.B.M/B.Sc(MLT)/LL.B/MD/MS/MDSetc. - 3 years - 6 years
B.Tech/B.Sc.B.Ed/BDS/B.Sc(Nursing)/BPT/B.Pharm)etc. - 4 years - 7 years
M.B.B.S./BVSC etc. - 4 ½ years - 8 years
LL.B(5 years) - 5 years - 9 years
