The college conducts B.Sc Optometry course in a high level. A well equipped lab has been setup for the benefit of students. The Chakraborty Eye Clinic and Amardeep Eye Hospital give them better training. The faculty members are also fully qualified. Dr. Sudha Menon MBBS, MS, DO Ophthalmologist of Amardeep Eye Hospital takes classes for our students. Our aim is to mould good optometrists and refractionists.
The National Institute of Medical Science (NIMS) is managed by Indian Modern Medicine and New Technical Education Social Service Trust, Tridvandrum. NIMS offers Paramedical courses under the approval of Vinayaka Missions University, Salem – 636 308, Tamil Nadu (Established under Sec:3 of the UGC Act 1956 & Approved by Distance Education Councel, IGNOU, New Delhi) under Distance Education Programme. NIMS aims to open the channel to dedicated young
optometrists, medical laboratory technologist and other paramedical personnel.
