Tthe members of the Foundation are eminent personalities in various walks of life such as education, research, industry, business, administration etc. President of the Foundation, Dr. B.S. Abdur Rrahman is the Chairman of the Ggoverning Body of the college and also the Managing Ttrustee of the “Seethakathi Ttrust” Chennai, which has established schools par excellence, for boys at Vandalur, Chennai and for Ggirls at Nnungambakkam, Chennai, Nnagore and Madurai and also a leading Arts and Science College for Women at Kilakarai. Tthe Foundation has dedicated itself to the cause of education with special attention to impart technical education to the educationally, socially and economically backward communities.
2. The Institution
BSA Crescent Eengineering College was established in 1984 by an order of the Ggovernment of Ttamilnadu as Muslim Minority College. Iit is located at the Seethakathi Eestate, Vandalur on the Gg.S.Tt. Rroad, 7 Km from Ttambaram Rrailway Station. is adjacent to the Anna Zoological Park and is easily accessible by frequent city buses.
Tthe College has been approved by the All Iindia Council for Ttechnical
Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the world renowned Anna University.

5. Scope of Study of MBA
Management Eeducation has acquired a vital prominence in administrative and economic activities of a nation. With the advent of high technology and the consequent rapid progress in development and growth of Iindustry and business, management has attained, greater significance. Professionally trained managers and executives play a vital role in business, organisations, industries, Ggovernments etc. Tthe presence of professionally educated management personnel has made a positive impact on business and industries. past decade therefore has realised the importance of MBA degree, a proven recognition to the professional management education.

n the wake of liberalisation and globalisation there is an increase in the complexity of relationships in the modern global society that demands the managers to become an elite of brains and education. Management Eeducation therefore has to re-align human resources and strategies for global competitiveness.
Management education does not mean mere lectures in classrooms, but a means to stimulate self learnings to evoke skills and competencies, to re-define attitudes and perceptions and to impart self-directed team work. Iit builds strong conceptual skills, intellectual ability and effective communication and presentation
skills and versatile executive capability.
Management education helps deduce logical thinking and enhance
reasoning ability, make speaking confident, give a wider perspective of individuals,
industries and environment and exposure to a variety of subjects.

7. Eligibility for Admission
Candidates for admission to the first year of the Master of Business Administration
full-time degree course are required to possess a pass in the Bachelor Degree of the Anna University or of any other University or a qualification recognized
as equivalent thereto.
8. Mode of Selection
Selection of candidate will be on the basis of an entrance test conducted by AIiMAMATt, TtANEETneet, group discussion and an interview.
