An anecdote with Sam Manekshaw

When requested for helicopter service by a minister, Sam Bahadur as he was called was asked to take the front seat of the helicopter which had cushioned seat. Out of courtesy he said that he would like the minister to take the seat as minister have to take care of their backsides where he had to take care of his head since there was sunshade for the back seat but not for the front seat.
