There were reports earlier in the newspapers that Barrack Obama carries hanuman idol with him for good luck charm.This has increased the respect for obama among the Indian americans. A two feet gold plated hanuman idol was presented to obama by a hanuman temple in delhi to wish him luck for his presidential race.Obama had been in indonesia for sometime where hinduism is very popular.His other good luck charms are miniature madonna and a child, bracelet of an american solider posted in Iraq and a gambler's lucky chit.
