Duration 3 years
(With an option to move out with M.Sc Zoology Degree after successful completion of 2 years. Those with 6.5 CGPA may continue for next 1 year to get in addition M.Phil degree in 1 year.)
Eligibility Criteria
(Qualifying Exam)
Pass with minimum 50% marks (aggregate) in Bachelors in Medical / Biotechnology / Life Sciences / MLT or an equivalent or any relevant higher examination from any recognized University.
Admission Criteria
Merit in the qualifying exam subject to eligibility criteria; and
cut off marks (if any)

Objectives of the Programme :
The department aims to provide multidisciplinary courses to train the students in a wide range of science based skills that furnish learning for future careers in areas/disciplines such as health sciences, wildlife, industrial zoology (say apiculture, sericulture etc), agriculture, environmental management, the emerging technologies, publishing, teaching and research. The objective is to produce Human Resource to deal with all that, which is linked to Zoology.
