Fingerprints of nearly one lakh criminals got erased from the fingerprint anaysis criminal tracking at the CBI.The CBI are not sure how the records got erased but are now frantically collecting the lost data.The bureau had written to all the distriact units asking for the images of the orginal finger prints.They have also asked the distrcit units to prpare a list of identified and out of view criminals.The loss of the fingerprints have delayed the cases.
