Full-time MBA and MCA Programs
The MBA Program
Eligibility
Graduation from any discipline with 45% and above aggregate marks.
Final year degree students awaiting results.
The MCA Program
Eligibility
Graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from any discipline, with 50% and above aggregate marks.
Admission
The selection of applicants into the MBA and MCA Programs is made through Admission Test and Interview.
Eligibility Criteria:
Graduation from any discipline with 45% and above aggregate marks for MBA and 50% and above aggregate marks for MCA.
Final year degree students awaiting results.
For the purpose of determining eligibility based on aggregate percentage of marks, the procedure used by the respective University in award of the degree will only be taken into consideration. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of formal schooling by June 16, 2008. Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible for admission to the MBA and MCA Programs.
Students in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations/viva assignments before June 16, 2008. Such applicants will have to produce a certificate to that effect at the time of admission. For any extension of this deadline, the applicants should apply separately, giving the schedule of their graduation examination. Extension may be granted on the basis of the circumstances of the case. The admission of applicants will, however, remain provisional until they produce marksheets and a degree certificate establishing their eligibility. The last date for submitting the proof of graduation transcripts is November 01, 2008, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.
Admission Criteria
The selection of applicants into the MBA and MCA Programs is made through Admission Test and Interview.
Admission Test: Student seeking admission into the MBA and MCA Programs is required to submit the completed application form at the ICFAI University center. They are required to appear for an Admission Test followed by an interview. The Admission Test is on GMAT® pattern with multiple choice questions and tests the applicant’s abilities in quantitative techniques, data adequacy, vocabulary and analytical reasoning. Exemption from Admission Test: Those applicants who have valid GMAT®/CAT 2007/XAT 2008 scores and those who appeared for IBSAT® 2007 (and were shortlisted for IBS® interviews) are exempted from Admission Test. They can appear for interview directly.

Interview
The applicants will have to go through a personal interview at the center where they seek admission. This is to determine the student’s attitudes and motivation to pursue the program. The interviews will be conducted after the admission test.
Original certificates should be produced for verification at the time of interview. The original certificates will be returned after verification.
The admission decision will be communicated after the interview process. All the selected students will be required to pay the admission fee at the time of the interview.
Past Academic Record
While evaluating applicants for admission into the MBA and MCA Programs, due consideration is given to the applicant’s past academic achievements. Apart from the marks/CGPA secured, various academic achievements and honors obtained by the applicant, professional and postgraduate qualifications will also be considered.
