PAYMENTS :
All payments ( Information & admission brochure, tuition fees, Processing fees, University fees, hostel fees etc.) are to be made either in cash at the university cash counter or through demand draft in favour of The Registrar, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.) payable at Bilaspur.
.: ADMISSION FORM / INFORMATION BROCHURE
“Information and Admission Brochure” can be obtained from the Registrar, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur C.G., 495009 either on cash payment of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST) or by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs.250/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST). Application can also be down loaded from the website www.ggu.ac.in However downloaded forms will be accepted only when accompanied with a DD of Rs.200/- (Rs. 100/- SC/ST).
.: SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS & FEES :
Application Form along with Eligibility Form, Enrollment Form and Identity-card Formon prescribed format, complete in all respects together with a photograph and duly attested copies of other relevant documents (as per the check list) in support of candidature along with application processing fee of Rs.110/- (Rs.55/- for ST/SC) can be sent or submitted to the Head of the respective department, so as to reach latest by ———2006. Separate application form is to be submitted for each course of study. Application form for one course of study shall not be transferred or considered for another course of study.
Application forms received late or without application processing fee or without all the required enclosures or incomplete in any respect, will not be considered.
Application forms received will be acknowledged and the date of entrance test or interview, if required, will be informed separately to the candidate.
The University shall not be responsible for the delay or non-delivery of the letters to the candidates by the Postal Department.
Candidates, who have appeared in the qualifying examination, may also apply for admission, subject to the fulfillment of eligibility condition by the date announced by the university. The candidate will be solely responsible for the facts and information furnished by him/her in the application forms. The student offered admission to a course will not be admitted to any other course (Degree/Diploma) either in UTD or in colleges affiliated to Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.). Any attempt of pressurizing, lobbying or otherwise unduly influencing the designated authority in whatever manner or indulging in misbehavior, undesirable conduct, showing disrespect to a teacher or officer or any other staff of the university, will render the applicant unfit and disqualified for admission to any department of the university.
.: SELECTION :
The applications received will be screened by the Admission Committee of the concerned department. Admission to all the courses will be made on the basis of academic merit or entrance test and personal interview, wherever specified. Separate merit list shall be prepared in respect of candidates in each category on basis of marks secured by them in the qualifying examination, entrance test and personal interview.The admission shall be made on the basis of merit list prepared by the Admission Committee of respective departments. The list shall be displayed on the notice board and the candidates will be informed also by post.
Any complaint/Court case regarding admission will be filed before the university authorities/Courts in Bilaspur and their decisions will be final.
.: AGE :
Candidates for graduate courses shall not be above 22 years and not above 27 years for postgraduate courses as on 1st July of the academic session. Age relaxation of three years in each case will be allowed for female candidates , SC/ST candidates, Government/Government controlled and NRI candidates. Age limits will be changed as and when modified by the Government / University.
.: OTHER CONDITIONS :
The candidates who have already passed postgraduate examination in one course shall not be allowed admission to university teaching department as a regular student in another post graduate course.
