IndianOil controls 10 of India’s 19 refineries with a current combined refining capacity of 60.2 million metric tones per annum (MMTPA). IndianOil holds 47% of the petroleum products market in India with an extensive network of over 32,500 sales points. Indian Oil has set up a world class R&D Centre at Faridabad which has won recognition for its pioneering research and development work in the areas of lubricant technology, refinery processes, pipelines transportation and bio-fuels. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals desirous of making a career in Research & Development, IndianOil. 1. RESEARCH OFFICER (MECHANICAL) : 5 POSTS
Qualification : M.Tech or M.E in Mechanical, Automobile, Energy Studies, Thermal or IC Engines from a recognized University / Institute with at least 65% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-Graduation. Specialization in Tribology, Engine Testing for Fuels and Lubricants, Alternative Fuels and Vehicular Emissions etc. is desirable. Research experience in the field of Engine / Vehicle Testing with an Automobile Company/Research Institute will be preferred.
2. RESEARCH OFFICER (CHEMICAL ENGG.) : 6 POSTS
Qualification : M.Tech or M.E. in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with at least 65% marks in Graduation as well as in Post- Graduation. Specialisation in Petroleum Refining Processes, Reaction Engg. / Separation Processes/ Equipment Design/Simulation & Modelling is desirable. Research experience in the related field is desirable. Candidates having knowledge of handling analytical equipments and interpretation of data will be preferred. Preference shall be given to the candidates, who have passed B.Tech as well as M.Tech from IITs and NITs.
3. RESEARCH OFFICER (CHEMISTRY) : 7 POSTS
Qualification : Ph.D in Physical / Analytical / Organic / Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute with at least 65% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-Graduation. Candidates with Mathematics as one of the main subjects in Graduation shall be preferred. Research experience in chemistry specially in the field of Petroleum Products, Polymers, Petro-chemicals, Bitumen etc. is desirable.
