Applications are invited for the following posts:-
1. STORE KEEPER-CUM PURCHASE ASSISTANT: (SC-01, OBC-1) Pay
Scale: 5000-8000 Essential Qualification & Experience: Graduate in
Science/Commerce(Above 55%) with diploma in Material Management of
two years duration, two years experience of stores and knowledge of
computer.
2. LIBRARIAN GRADE-III (SC-01): Pay scale: 5000-8000, Essential
Qualification & Experience: Graduate in Science with degree in Library
Sciences with two years experience of acquisition of books/periodicals and
documentation work. Typing speed of 30 & 25 w.p.m. in English/Hindi.
Knowledge of computer is necessary.
3. MEDICAL RECORD TECHNICIAN: (SC-01, OBC-01) Pay scale: 4000-
6000, Essential Qualification & Experience: Graduate Degree/ Diploma in
Medical Record & Knowledge of computers. In case candidates with
Degree/Diploma are not available, persons with experience of working in
medical records in a large hospital can be considered.
4. PHARMACIST GR.III: (SC-01): Pay Scale: 4500-7000, Essential
Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institute
and with 3 years experience in the line in a large (more than 200 bedded)
hospital.
5. CSR ASSISTANT GR-I: (SC-01): Pay Scale:4000-6000, Essential
Qualification & Experience: 10+2 in Science with Diploma in CSSD, failing
which 3 years experience in CSSD in large teaching hospital.
6. DARK ROOM ASSISTANT GR.III: (SC-01): Pay Scale:3050-4590,
Essential Qualification & Experience:Matric or its equivalent
Diploma/Certificate in Radiology of one year. Desirable:- One year
experience as Dark Room Assistant in a hospital.
7. RECEPTIONIST: (SC-01): Pay Scale:4500-7000), Essential Qualification &
Experience: Graduate with High Second class (Marks above 55%) with one of
the following subject: Social Work/Sociology/Psychology with diploma in
Journalism/Mass Communication/Public Relation.
HOW TO APPLY:-

signed recent passport size photograph giving full details of 1. Advt. No.

10. Category (in case of reserved category, attached certificate issued by
the competent authority), 11.Academic Qualification (Exam. Pass, year,
Board/Univ, Division, percentage of marks and subject), 12. Details of
experience (Post held, Period of working, Scale of pay, employer’s name
and address, nature of duties), Signature of the candidate with date.
2 Attested copies of testimonials/documents in support of age (date of birth),
educational qualification, experience and caste must be enclosed with the
application.
3 Reservation is applicable for SC, ST and OBC of Uttar Pradesh state only.
4 Applications should be addressed to the Director, Sanjay Gandhi Post
Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow (UP) and should be sent
by registered post/speed post only.
5 Envelope should be superscribed with the advertisement No. and name of
the post.
6 Director reserves the right to cancel the advertisement without assigning
any reason.
7 Number of post may be increased/decreased depending upon the need of
the Institute.
8 No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the test/interview.
9 Applicant working in Govt./Semi Govt./undertaking/Autonomous institute
should apply through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate
at the time of interview.
10 In case of non-availability of reserved candidates of requisite experience,
the requisite experience may be relaxed as per U.P. Govt. rules.
11 Candidates with higher qualifications shall be preferred.
12 Maximum age limit 40 years (including relaxation period) recokoned as
on 01.01.2008.
13 Incomplete applications (i.e. without testimonials, document, unsigned
applications) and applications received in this Institute after the expiry of
the last date will be summarily rejected.
14 Merely fulfilling minimum requirement does not essentially qualify
candidate to be called for test/interview.
