MLR Institute of Technology ( Formerly known as KMR Institute of Engineering and Technology ) was established in the year 2005 with the aim of providing quality education to all sections of the society. The college is being run by KMR educational society under the able chairmanship of Sri M Laxman Reddy.
The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad
The college has highly qualified (Ph.Ds & M.Techs), experienced and dedicated faculty drawn from educational, Industry and Research Organizations.
The College can boast of having best infrastructure, state - of - art Computer Hardware, Software, Electronic laboratories, sport facilities and ambience.
Campus
The campus consisting of 10 Acres of land and lot of build up area excluding other buildings and workshop areas, is adequate enough to conduct various courses under B.Tech Program. The main building consists of well ventilated and lighted class rooms with Audio Visual aids for teaching, Laboratories, Workshops, Spacious Drawing Hall, Computer Centers, Life skill development lab, Seminar Hall, Ladies lounge, faculty room, Conference room and so on
