K.L.N. College of Engineering signs pact with Infosys

Infosys has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with K.L.N. College of Engineering to update students with emerging trends and enhance their job-ready skills through training and workshops called Campus Connect Programmes.

Dharaneeswari, educational evangelist of Infosys, conducted an awareness session for pre-final year students recently. She said that the Campus Connect Programmes were aimed at improving technical proficiency and developing soft skills. Under the ‘Train the Trainer Initiative’ six senior faculty members were given training both in software and soft skills for a week in Bangalore.

T. K. Mahendrababu, Dean, Academic, Research and Development of the college, welcomed the gathering and G. Gokul Kumar, talent development officer, proposed the vote of thanks.

A Chennai-based IT company of CMM Level-5 Calibre Keane conducted a two-day adept programme for 133 students of KLN College of Engineering and KLN College of Information Technology recruited by it.

The selected students belong to various disciplines such as BE/B. Tech computer science electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, information technology, electronics and instrumentation and MCA branches.

The pre-induction programme included sessions on behavioural and technical training.

In his keynote address, A. Bala, General Manager, Keane, spoke about the company and present competitive industrial scenario.
