I will definitely not go with U.P.A .Those peoples are just doing horse trading and trying to buy M.P's just to safe guard their party.so we should definitely teach them a lesson by not casting our votes to U.P.A Government.

2009 election, pls all cast your vote for UPA, some can say they are buying the MPs for the remaining session of their 5 years period. What is going on in our nation. Communists are always against the Americans from their blodd. So only they are against this nuclear deal, unless no true reasons. IF anyone know the true reason, can say HERE. we can discuss with MR.MANMOHAN SINGH.Why BJPs are against this nuclear deal. TRUE to say they are not against this deal. but to dissolve this UPA they are acting as against this deal. They are thinking that they will come to throne next time in 2009 , if that happens so , then they will surely go for Nuclear deal. But due to the cruel oil price and worst economy crisis in india, every people are not satisfied with UPA, so their chances are less to win 2009 elections, unless otherwise with strong relations they can go for coalition government.

It's sure that UPA will loose elections in 2009. The result of Karnataka elections 2008 is a clear sign of that. High inflation, rising prices of oil, Nuclear deal, horse trading of MPs. All these issues are certainly go against UPA and help NDA.
Thought we have a prominent people like Dr.Manmohan Singh as our Prime Minister, we don't have any hope as long as he is under Sonia Gandhi. Though she rejected the PM post, unofficially she is the PM as she takes all the important and major decisions in background.
Let's vote against UPA and teach them a lesson.

The crucial trust vote to UPA government will be held on tuesday 22.07.08. We should wait and watch whether UPA government will continue or there will be fresh election.

UPA has done it. UPA has gained the trust vote in the parliment by avoiding early elections.
But there were voices in the parliment that they have paid heafty amount (about 9.00 crores) to MP's to vote for them.

Even i dont think UPA will win elections in 2009. Inflation has touched heights in past four years and growth has slowed down substantially. Poor and Middle class is really frustrated with this government.Basic amenities have become so very expensive. Living standard of people has gone down substantially. I think people are looking for a change in next elections.

No matter who comes into power, there are many a chances that andhra pradesh may be diveded into two states if not three.
TELANGANA ,RAYALASEEMA AND ANDHRA
THERE ARE ALREADY PARTIES THAT ARE COMING UP WHO IS ONLY MOTTO IS TO GET A SEPARATE TELANGANA.
MAY BE THE EQUATIONS MAY CHANGE IF THE HERO MEGASTAR CHIRANJEEVI COME INTO POLITICS AND CAN WE A HANDY SEATS.
TDP IS IN A HURDLE AS MANY OF ITS VIP MEMBERS ARE QUITTING THE PARTY FIRST IT WAS DEVENDER GOUD,NEXT RAMCHADRAIAH. BUT THE CHANDRABABU NAIDU SEEMS TO BE IN NO HURRY.
HE IS VERY MUCH CONFIDENT THAT PEOPLE WILL GET HIM BACK TO POWER. ANDHRA PRADESH CONTRIBUTES MANY A MP'S SO FOR ALL THE PARTIES AP IS IMPORTANT.

UPA have failed in each and every step, neither they were able to control inflation, nor they were able to increase GDP growth. Law and Order detoriated and terrorist easily doing their task. I think at present we require a PM like L.K. Advani and home minister like Narendra Modi.

Election , it is a test for the politicians .There no other way than serving the nation for getting qualification marks from the people. By the current political condition, I am afraid that UPA loose their supremity because they lost their main supporters. One major fact is that the 123 agreement with the US and the RAM SETHU issue had tured a lot of people in the other way. In my opinion which party is not the matter but how they rule is the important thing.

Congress is all way to find the number on the D-day for the Trust Vote on July 22. As this will decide the fate of Congress + Allies will they be in the government or need to step down.
The smaller parties making more of impact on the Congress count. The BJP, Left and BSP are striving hard to get these parties along with them in all possible ways. By offering them whatever they can.
Congress is also not a standback, now it has made way to JMM Shibu Soren to support them as he has 5 MP in Lok Sabham and SP leader is also with the Congress. The updated news is Maran is now with the support with DMK who is supporting the VOTE.
Mulayam Singh Yadav has strike back to BJP, BSP and other parties which include TDP stating them they are trying all games to pull down the government in all possible way. They have tried all the possible ways.
JD(S) supremo is voting against Congress in Trust of Vote. As Congress is not willing to give a Centre minister to Kumaraswamy which is demand of Deve Gowdam if he need to vote for Congress.
Now it is neck to neck battle between smaller parties and BJP, Congress.
Everyone is eyeing on the N-Deal, now is bothered of other happening in the country. The smaller parties are making most of it which can fill up their portfolio and give them a boost in their political career.

Election in India mean lots of money, big drama, big names, big parties, Enemies become friends, time for politicians to decide which party will be the best to join and which party will provide them more comfort whether they win or loose.
Current scenario, we see and hear that Congress and other parties are all out on the ground in dealing all parties in order to get the Trust of Vote which can help them to sign the IAEA agreement with US. The politician who were not known to each other from long time have now become the most important member of every meeting and press conference. They have started to look out for options how they can get the best out of it, which party is fulfilling their wishes. Then again still the question stand their whom are they going to support. They are the kings who are going to decide the fate of Congress whether it will stand or fall with the deal. The politician are going to decide the future India, how it will prosper, by making the best deal out the IAEA agreement which Congress need to go for it, in order to keep up its pride.
There are other issues which country is now facing INFLATION, Stock Market, floods and many more. Not a single political party is looking towards the issue or even trying to work on it. Ask any political person, they have their answer ready Crude prices are all time, this is the reason INFLATION is high. We are taking steps to get control it. Everyone is deeply involved in getting each and every person confidence in order to get the IAEA agreement signed or not to be signed. No signs of relief towards Citizen who have elected them a representative of the country.

Hi all,
We cannot say which party will lead in the elections of 2009. Because every month a new party is coming up saying that they will do better than the earlier parties. But the recent elections in Delhi, Rajasthan etc. proved that Congress is still ahead in the race. Let us wait and see the results.

Hai Everybody,
In this Loksabha Election 2009,there is no chance to win Congress party due to the following reasons •Power cut. •Fuel prices hike. •Mumbai terrorist attacks.
These are the major reports about Congress.
so the BJP will win this Loksabha Election 2009.

I think UPA win once again this time because although there has been so many loop holes in their leadership but ther is no other deserving party exists today in India as NDA always uses the secularism agenda and also tehre is one very large factor of nuclear deal associated with UPA.

Prime Ministerial Candidates
United Progressive Alliance Following the August 2008 confidence vote victory for the current government, a statement by Indian National Congress President Sonia Gandhi has caused speculation that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would be projected as the Prime Ministerial candidate in the next elections. Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar has indicated that he is also a possible Prime Ministerial candidate post elections. On January 24th, 2009, Manmohan Singh underwent cardiac bypass surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Following the surgery, speculation of alternate PM candidates arose both within the Congress and amongst coalition partners. In an attempt to quell such speculations, Sonia Gandhi on February 6th, 2009, wrote in the Congress party magazine Sandesh that Manmohan Singh is the UPA coalition's Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2009 elections.
National Democratic Alliance The main opposition, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its coalition partners in the National Democratic Alliance, announced on December 11, 2007 that their candidate for prime minister would be BJP party leader Lal Krishna Advani, the Leader of the Opposition. On January 23, 2008, leaders from BJP and other NDA parties convened to officially elect him their candidate. No other party or alliance has announced a prime ministerial candidate.
Third Front A motley group of regional parties, as well as the Communist parties, have been striving to form a third front to counter the BJP-led and Congress-led alliances. Among the possible members are the United National Progressive Alliance, India's Left parties and the Bahujan Samaj Party. Once again, the media has speculated that Mayawati, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, could potentially be projected as the front's Prime Ministerial candidate, but no official move has taken place yet. If Mayawati's party can win enough seats, she has openly stated that she would be willing to take the support of the national parties to become Prime Minister. No other candidate has publicly expressed interest in becoming Prime Minister thus far.

Hi,Tony I don't have intrest in Politics but After joing the Indiastudychannel i have changed my view regarding the politics.Right now according me Congress has a very good record in his previous year&one thing like most about the Mr.Rahul Ghandi that he want to the new age persons to join the politics because what they have vision defenately he had something in his mind which can change the ploitics. One more thing i would like to discuss related to Some of our MLA who had registered in criminal records. Can we ban these kinds of persons to enter in politics. In my terms Plitics is that field in which any person get the position of to do any thing just beyond the power of a Ordinary man but they use there power to show off. These criminal MLA's we have to pay a certain kind of losses like the in yesterday news paper i read that some person set ablaze in police station and burnt a few government buses, some motor bikes, even they hurt some passangers who were sitting in buses. Now somebody ask him, how'll they recover these losses just increasing the TAXES,then our common person make a huge whisspering, making noises that government is doing that no one can even think about that all the Public property are for us why are demageing these things.

Neither UPA nor NDA will emerge with single majority. UPA's trusted allies are deserting the Congress preferably eying for Prime Minister Post. NDA is fixed with internal faction.Leaving the Hindu card to Hitech or e-governance. The third front will emerge with most numbers of MPs elected. But it is doubtful whether they can form a stable goverment for next 5 years.
The FIRST third front formed some time back was a failure.
The SECOND third front formed recently have not cleared the indians who will run the government, if elected to power.
It is sure a THIRD third front will be formed after the election results are announced with horse trading of who will be the who in the new Government formation. Let us wait and watch after May 16th.

I think UPA wont win this time ,why because , during their periods people faces more suffer.particularly terror attacks in Bangalore, jaipur and all largest cities in india , particularly in mumbai , is almost a mind blowing terror attack. Power cut , fuel prices hike are another major reasons for the people who hate the UPA.
only thing , people who doesnt suffer are from railways department.

The Lok Sabha elections are round the corner. The political landscape is hazy with leaders still trying their hands at various political permutations and combinations to wrest power. As things stand now, there will be a three-cornered contest with the Congress and the BJP being the main rivals and the third front led by the Left, yet to take concrete shape, out to upset the applecart of the main two contestants in its strongholds. While the BJP was the first to declare L K Advani as its prime ministerial candidate, the other political combinations are yet to come out with a clear choice for the top post. The pollscape may throw up many surprises as the D-day draws near.

The UPA and the NDA,would have tought time this election since the third front formed by the communist party would pose a great threat by preventing any having majority and not allowing to form the other parties any co alliances Definiely the UPA goverment being should not be brought back in rule because of their actions of trading the nations defense and power to the USA there is another point to be noted this elections, the UPA government followed by the NDA are allowing the highest number of candidates with criminal cases and criminal background ........

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati, industrialist Anil Ambani and prominent candidates like Milind Deora, Ram NaikNaik and Akhilesh Das UP CM Mayawati casts her vote at a polling booth in Lucknow. (were some of the early voters in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections on Thursday. Mayawati, accompanied by her party candidate Akhilesh Das, cast her vote in Lucknow before setting off to campaign for BSP in Mathura, Bulandshahr and other consituencies.
Asking her party supporters to come out and vote, Mayawati said, "I always appeal to all my supporters to first cast their vote and then start their day's work. I not only preach what I say but also practice it. So I came to vote even before having tea or breakfast."
Anil Ambani jogged his way to the polling booth in South Mumbai and cast his vote in the first hour of polling while actor Sonam Kapoor, of Delhi 6 fame, was excited at having voted for the first time.
Milind Deora, the Congress candidate from South Mumbai, appealed to the young voters to cast their vote. His high-profile constituency usually witnesses a low voter turnout.
He said after the Mumbai terror attack -- which took place in Taj and Trident hotels located in his constituency-- security was a big issue.
Ram Naik, the BJP candidate from Mumbai North who was defeated by actor Govinda in 2004, said he was confident of winning the polls this time.
Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, who cast his vote in Gandhinagar, was confident of a landslide BJP win and said that L K Advani was sure to form the government at the Centre. ( Watch )
He appealed to women and the young to come out and vote in large numbers.
Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa whose son B Y Raghavendra is the BJP candidate from Shimoga, shrugged off the Election Commission accusation of money power being used in the polls.
"I don't agree with the EC that we have spent money. May be the Congress and the JD(S) have done so," he said. Denying that BJP was also encouraging dynastic politics, he said, his son's victory would be the victory of the party workers at all levels against S Bangarappa in Shimoga.
BSP candidate from Lucknow Akhilesh Das said the legacy of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee would not benefit BJP candidate Lalji Tandon.
"Lucknow is Vajpayee's legacy and not Lalji Tandon's. I am quite confident of winning," he said.
Meanwhile, Darjeeling witnessed a good voter turnout. Former external affairs minister and BJP candidate Jaswant Singh is banking on support of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) to win this constituency.
Danseuse Mallika Sarabhai, who is contesting as an Independent against BJP leader L K Advani, also exercised her franchise from Gandhinagar along with her mother and children.
BJP President Rajnath Singh cast his vote at a polling station in Lucknow. "In this election BJP-led NDA will get a clear cut majority and will form the next government at the Centre," Singh told reporters.
Asked whether he will join the Government if NDA came to power, he said: "I will continue to work for the organisation," he said.
