PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION OF STUDENTS UNDER FOREIGN NATIONALS/ PIOs CATEGORY AT ANNA UNIVERSITY CHENNAI
1. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1.1 Application
The application form may be down loaded from the website www.annauniv.edu/adm.
1.2 Eligibility and Academic Qualifications

1.2.1 Candidates must have passed (or must be appearing for), the qualifying examination, i.e. (10 + 2) of Indian System or its equivalent for B.E./B.Tech. Programmes.
1.2.2 B.E/B.Tech: Candidates must have studied and obtained a pass with Good Grades as per their system of education in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for all courses including Bio-Technology in the qualifying examination.
B.Arch.: Candidates must have studied mathematics as one of the subjects. The candidates must have passed the National Aptitude Test conducted by the Council of Architecture.

1.5 Selection of candidates :
1.5.1 Selection of the candidates will be done by first come first served basis subject to availability of vacancies and production of the following documents:

1.7. Fitness:
Candidates have to submit a medical fitness certificate at the time of final allotment as per Annexure-III.
2. GENERAL INFORMATION
2.1. Reporting to the University:
Normally, the academic session begins by July – August every year. candidates selected for admission are required to report to the Deans of campus concerned on the scheduled date mentioned in the allotment order. If the candidate fails to do so, the offer of admission will automatically stand cancelled.
2.2 Hostel Accommodations:
Hostel accommodation is available inside the campus. Interested Candidates may apply to the Dean of the campus concerned for Hostel admission. They have to pay the prescribed fee as per Hostel Rules. There is no separate Hostel for Foreign National students. The Hostel Mess is run on dividing system.
