ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR ADMISSION TO MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS (MCA) COURSE -2008
Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Course in Kerala in the AICTE approved institutions for the academic year 2008-09.
Date of Exam: 20-7-2008 (Sunday) Time: 10.00 Am To 12.00 Noon
Exam centres: TVM,EKM,KKD
Academic: A pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level, OR a pass in any recognized regular Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects, OR A pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University.
NOTE: Candidates who are appearing / have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the original mark list of all parts the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of allotment.
Reservation of Seats: Reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 3% percent seats in every Government and Aided Colleges are reserved for persons with disabilities and Orthopaedically Handicapped candidates.
Entrance Examination: The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode on 20.07.2008 (Sunday). It will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective Type Questions covering the following areas of study at graduate level. (a) Mathematics (b) Statistics (c) Physics (d) Chemistry (e) General Knowledge (f) General English and (g) Fundamentals of Computer Awareness
