FINAL RESULT
Results are announced which can also be viewed on the website.
PRESS NOTE
The following are the lists, in order of merit of 299 candidates, who have qualified on the basis of the results of the written examination held by the Union Public Service Commission in April, 2007 and the interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of National Defence Academy for the 119th course and Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch) for the 39th course, commencing from January, 2008.
There are some common candidates in the three lists for Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy. The total number of such candidates in the three lists is 154. The number of vacancies as intimated by the Government is 335 (195 for Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for the Air Force and 35 for the Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch)).
The results of medical examination have not been taken into account in preparing these lists.
The candidature of all the candidates is provisional, subject to their submitting the requisite certificates in support of date of birth and educational qualifications etc. claimed by them direct to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Adjutant General's Branch, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block No.III, Wing-I, R.K. Puram, New Delhi - 110066 wherever this has not already been done and NOT to UPSC.
In case, there is any change of address, the candidate are advised to promptly intimate direct to the Army Headquarter at the address given above.
These results will also be available on the UPSC website. However, marks of the candidates will be available on the website after 30 days from the date of declaration of final results.
