Post Graduate Diploma in Media Studies and Film and Television (PGDMS&FT)
Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline (pass/ honours/vocational etc) from a recognized University. Those who have appeared for final examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply. No age bar. Reservation for SC, ST and Physically Handicapped candidates as per rules and University norms.
Selection: Thirty- five (35) seats are filled through written test. Such candidates are exempted from interview. Fifteen (15) seats are filled through interview, which are reserved only for candidates with Journalism & Mass Communication/ Film Studies/ Videography as their pass / general/ honours/ vocational subject at the graduation level. Applicants for this category are exempted from written selection test.
How To Apply: Application Forms are available at the C U Sales Counter, Asutosh Building (Ground Floor), College Street Campus, Kolkata-700073, on payment of Rs. 250 in cash from August 12 to August 26, 2008.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS: Application forms, properly filled, are to be submitted at the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Hardinge Building (Second Floor), College Street Campus, Kolkata 700073 from August 12 to August 26, 2008.
