Qualifications: First Class, Diploma in Civil Engineering of 3 years full time duration from a Government approved and recognized Institution / technical board.

Desirable experience: Some experience in the civil construction, supervision and related works. Proficiency in usage of computer with applications like MS Word, Excel & AutoCAD

Desirable experience: Some experience in the maintenance and supervision of electrical sub-stations, electrical distribution systems and related works. Proficiency in usage of computer with applications like MS Word, Excel & AutoCAD.

Scale of pay: Rs.4500-125-7000/-

How To Apply
1. An application fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) (no application fee for physically handicapped candidates and regular employees of CSIR) is payable separately for each post which should be ONLY in the form of crossed DD payable at Dona Paula or Panaji or any where in Goa (valid for a period of at least 6 months) drawn in favour of the Director, National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, Goa, and duly enclosed along with the print out of application
2. The print out of the submitted online application form duly signed and attached with application fee, recent passport size photograph and attested copies of matriculation/ SSLC/ Diploma/ Degree certificate in the relevant area and mark sheets for all the semesters/ Community certificate etc., should be sent in a sealed cover superscripted with " Application for the post of Junior Technical Assistant - Post Code No._____________________" to the Administrative Officer, National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, Goa 403004 so as to reach on or before 05.09.2008
