WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held on 29.08.2008, in the office of the Chairman, Civil Engineering Department for the following purely temporary assignment to work in DST (STARD) sponsored community development project entitled “Water Harvesting to Curb Groundwater Decline & Runoff Flooding in Dayalpur Village, Kurukshetra.”
1 Name of the Post: Field Assistant (One)
Qualifications: 8th pass with one year working experience in construction.
Stipend: Rs 3,500/- p.m. fixed for 1st year and Rs 4,000/- p.m. fixed for 2nd and 3rd year
Minimum Age: 18 years
Nature of appointment: The post is purely on contract basis with no other benefits associated with it.
2. Name of the Post: Project Assistant (One)
Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/diploma in Civil Engineering with two year work experience/ Masters in Applied Geology/Geology.
Desirable: Field experience in ground water exploration/water harvesting
Stipend: Rs 8000-250-8500/- p.m.
Maximum Age: 35 years
Tenure of appointment: The appointment will be made initially for a period of one year, which may be extended up to a maximum three years depending on the performance of the candidate.
