DST CENTRE FOR INTERDISCIPLINARY MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES
BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY

Applications are invited for the posts (12 nos.) of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the fellowship Rs.12000 p.m. + HRA in a DST, New Delhi sponsored Centre for Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences (presently) sanctioned up to
January 2013. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidate should be M.Sc. in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science, having minimum 55% marks and NET/GATE, age not exceeding 28 years (a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit will be given to SC / ST / physically handicapped / female candidates). Candidates with experience of research in the area of Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science or related fields will be preferred. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Application on plain paper giving Bio-data along with qualification, research experience, etc. supported by attested documents should reach the Coordinator, the DST Centre for Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences, Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science, B.H.U., Varanasi – 221005, latest by September
30, 2008.
No TA/DA will be paid, if called for interview.
