Sub: Admission to One time Diploma Course in Theory and Practice of
Ethnographic and Folklore Archive-reg.

Applications are invited from interested candidates for admission to the one
time Diploma course in Theory and Practice of Ethnographic and Folklore Archive in
the Centre for Folklore Studies, Vatakara.
Eligibility : Any graduation recognised by
UGC/Calicut University
Duration : 16 weeks ( 4 months)
Mode of selection : Ranking in accordance with the mark
secured in graduation
Intake : 15
Application forms and other details can be had from the Head of the
Department, Centre for Folklore Studies, Vatakara, Puthupanam P.O., on a request
with a chalan receipt of Rs. 50/-. Request for application by post shall be
accompanied by a self addressed and stamped envelope (Rs.10/-) and chalan for
Rs.50/-. Details of course and application are also available in University website
(www.University of Calicut .info ) Down loaded application forms also can be
submitted alongwith a chalan receipt for Rs.50/- remitted to the University Fund
towards cost of application. Those who reside outside the state may remit the cost of
application by a DD drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Calicut
payable at SBT, Calicut University Branch.

filled in applications by the Head of the Centre is on 25.09.08 (Thursday).
