The objective of the course is to provide the basic concepts of Enterprise Resource Planning and Management of Information System.

4. ERP Modules: Finance, Accounting Systems, Manufacturing and Production Systems, Sales and Distribution Systems, , Human Resource Systems, Plant Maintenance System, Materials Management System, Quality Management System, ERP System Options and Selection, ERP proposal Evaluation.

Types of Information Systems : Transaction Processing Systems, MIS, Decision Support Systems, Office Automation System, Communication Systems, , Knowledge Work Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Group Decision Support Systems (GDSS), Expert Systems, Executive Information Systems, Strategic Information Systems and Strategy Level Information Systems.
