Hi
Ihave downloaded spyware doctor but I have heard that this antivirus is not sufficient to detect and fix all the viruses. What do you say?

No antivirus will be sufficient to handle all viruses ! The more yu pay, the better you get (in most cases), but you will never get 100% perfect antivirus/antispyware. New viruses and spyware keep coming everyday.

Good AV. I have personally used it. It works very actively. I was on public place using the Internet in Hugary, lot of spywares are detecetd by this AV and immedialtely I switched off my PC to protect from damage.

hey,
avast detect much more than any antivirus.
than kasperskey and than avira ...
ya its true no antivirus can detect but all these three can keep your system safe....
In last week Avast blocked more than 70 attacks...from various malware, spyware, worm ,trojan,and other recognition pattern...
so, upadated antivirus will keep you safe.

Dear sir
I installed spy ware doctor pack in my computer after going through the link. I think My internet speed slowed down slightly and computer takes more time to start. Is it because of this? I am confused.

This is a common problem with spyware doctor. Might be your PC is also showing same problem of slow speed.
This happens because of the resources used by the spyware doctor.It uses lots of RAM and bandwidth.
I will recommend you to install another anti-virus and stop all services of Spyware Doctor.And use it once in 15 days.
This is my opinion everybody has different opinion.

For all,
I will recommend AVAST home edition or Avast Pro. edition along with Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall.
Those who are using internet daily just use this combination and you will feel the difference.
Your system will be more secure than ever.
1..Stop windows firewall.
2..Stop windows auto-update.
3..Install AVAST and KERIO firewall.
Feel the difference. Have a good day.

It is better than norton antivirus software.
Now my computer's performance is very good.

Basically Avast is better than Avira because Avast has one extra facility called boot-time scan which can even delete viruses that loads itself at system start up but Avira might not succeed always

Thanks for such a valuable tips. But I read one article which say that spyware doctor is not full-proof safety to your computer.
Still it is good and detect most of the viruses, When it start failing some of the virus detection then I will say the article was correct, but for now it's OK

I think eset smart security would be the best . I am using it for the last 2 years and did not get any problems .

Whatever antivirus you use, I recommend you to use threatfire in parallel. Threatfire gives additional safety against virus, spywares, malwares, etc., it alerts you when you install a software that has malware in it.

I think a Norton Antivirus program works much better more fine than Spyware Doctor.
Do this Spyware Doctor works as an online protector too? Is it lesser or better than the leading Norton products? I do not think so. As Norton gives a complete and wholesome security in all the possible ways. It even protects the system and user from 'Click/Like' jacking viruses online(mostly while working on a social networking site like Facebook) very finely by cancelling the page request every time we click on that harmful matter.
I have a proof of that in the form of myself and my classmate. When Facebook site was being attacked by the viruses which have some chinese language or hot topic or else in them, and when we were clicking or liking that link, it was being shared to every person in our friend list, with a picture about some porn or inappropriate content. The thing is that my friend had recently installed Spyware Doctor on his PC, and as always I was having the support of Norton antivirus. When he clicked that link, he got suffered with that problem and it was for sure an embarassing moment for him. But when I had went to comment against posting such content on my cousin's wall, and clicked on that link, my page was getting frozen every time I was trying to open that link. And after some seconds, my Norton antivirus showed me message of finding and blocking a malcious content. And that is how I got escaped from that virus, though the other ones who had clicked it had to suffer with problems.
So, by keeping that incident in my mind, I think Norton is best for me, and remains more updated as its roots are spreaded all over the world in a large number of users, and they get informed about every harmful threat much more faster than any other antivirus companies.
I think that using a all-rounder program is quite more fine than installing multiple programs for multiple security purposes.
Though, the interested users and the ones who are having a poor system configuration, can go for it surely.
