MBA (Insurance)
MBA (Insurance) Program has been designed with dual specialization including one compulsorily in insurance. First year course is aimed at providing students with a foundation in the fundamental functional disciplines – Insurance Marketing, IT and Finance etc. Besides, the fields covered include Economics, Behavioral Science, Foreign Business Language & Quantitative Techniques in Management.
Second year course lays emphasis on in-depth understanding of insurance and one more core functional area out of available options viz Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
The curriculum has been designed to impart knowledge and skills considered essential to lead and manage successfully in an increasingly dynamic and complex business environment. Participative Managerial Effectiveness which runs almost throughout the course assists students to manage such an environment.
The curriculum is complemented by teaching methodologies which include lectures, case discussions, exercises, projects, surprise tests and quizzes that prepare the students for future challenges at workplace.

Marketing of Insurance Products & Services (including IRDA regulations for intermediaries) • Two Months summer placement
