Honeymooner’s paradise
Honeymoon is the best period in anybody's life. Every youngster waits for this day. People make a lot of plans to celebrate "Honeymoon". Hill stations are obviously among the best locations & the most preferred.
Shimla is situated in the Shivalik range of Himalayas. Shimla is the ideal place for " Romance in snow". People visit Shimla for different purposes-honeymoon, trekking, etc.
Shimla is a wonderful place to visit. One can plan-Shimla, Kullu, Manali. Delhi, Agra tour if one is having 10-14 days of holidays.

It is very important to check whether hotels have "centralised heating system" or no because it will be very cold. Temperatures will be anything between 4 - 0 deg celsius especially in Jan-Feb
I had been to Shimla with my wife in Feb.
During Jan-feb , there is always a possibility of snowfall. During heavy snowfall, you will not be allowed to visit some points as it is risky.
Manali
Manali is situated in the Beas River valley in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.
Climate
During winter, it is very cold. Temperatures are in the range 0~15 o C in winter and 15-25o in summer .
If one plans to visit in December to Feb, it will be very cold. So get enough warm woolen clothes. Pullovers are ideal. One should wear cap to cover ears. One should wear sports shoes and not leather shoes.
Hotels
There are many good hotels available. These are either 3 or 5 star or other types of hotels. If advanced booking is done, it is an additional advantage as one gets discount and one is assured about stay.
Food
Punjabi and Gujarathi food is also available at selected hotels.
Points to see
Lakkar bazaar is wellknown for wooden crafts.
Temples
Hanuman- Sankat-Mochan temple is situated at a distance of 5 km. One gets a wonderful view of Shimla from here.
Hidimba Devi Temple
Potter hill - It has ecological park which is very well maintained. It is situated at a distance of 1 Km from Summer Hill
Kufri- This is a location which provides wonderful snow for skiing lovers in winters.
Naldehra has a very good golf course. This is the oldest and the highest golf course in India. Golf lovers can enjoy here.

Ice-skating is available from December to February.
