Failures are stepping stones for Success.
Posted Date: 06-Jan-2009
"A successful person never quits trying, once a goal is reached he sets another and keeps going."
Many of us have different aims in life, like to become a doctor, an engineer, an architect, an army officer etc. And once we reach them, we think we have achieved success. But is success something which ends after attaining an aim?
No, certainly not, it is a continuous process.
Success is never ending. To become a doctor is not sufficient, it is also necessary to give correct treatment to patients. To become an army officer is nothing great but to perform the duties of an officer be comes more important. This shows that after getting our aim we change our aim and the end becomes a means for further success.
Failures are never final, but they are a stepping stone towards our journey.
Failures are the pillars of success.
Each one of us have failed sometimes in our life. Even the world's richest man, Bill Gates, failed in his High School exams. Mr Eiffel, the constructor of Eiffel Tower failed in his exams at the polytechnic. However, these people never lost hope and made greater efforts with renewed energy. They never got disheartened or mourned their failures but they worked hard and learned from their failures and became great men in history.
A person who loses heart after failure, is a lost case but a person who takes his failure in its stride and continues his efforts for success, does succeed in the long run. The story of King Bruce is too well-known to to be repeated. One poet rightly said,
"This lesson you should need:
Try, try again!
Till at last you succeed Try, try again!"
