1- Sr. Manager - Pharmacovigilance


No Of positions: 1
Location: Bengaluru /Bangalore
Education Qualification: MD-Pharmacology with 6-10 yrs of experience in phamacovigilance or M.Pharm /PHD with relevant work experience.

Functional Area: Phamacovigilance

Job Description:
The incumbent should provide global drug safety and phamacovigilance surveillance for marketed and investigational products. S(he) should provide case management and maintain phamacovigilance and drug safety operations. S(he) should conduct medical assessment, determine additional information needed and independently generate drug safety. S(he) will be responsible for drug safety crisis management. S(he) will overlook the signal detection and risk management activities for designated global products. S(he) should design and implement systems for drug safety collection, processing, reporting and coding. S(he) will be involved in making strategies for pre and post marketing risk management and should keep abreast of phamacovigilance methods and trends in published literature and global regulation. The position will be in the quality department and the incumbent will report to the head of quality.

Technical / Functional Skills :
-MD-Pharmacology with 6-10 yrs of experience in phamacovigilance or M.Pharm /PHD with relevant work experience.
-Experience in contract research organization or pharmaceutical / Biotechnology Company is a must.
-In-depth clinical background is needed. Should have good knowledge of EMEA, Non-EU and FDA regulation.
-Should have strong knowledge of worldwide safety regulation for marketed and investigational products.
-Should have industrial knowledge experience in drug safety and phamacovigilance and FDA and global regulations related to drug safety reporting ,ICH guidelines, and GCP and the process required to comply.

2- Manager/ Sr. Manager-Projects

Functional Area: Projects

Job Description:
-Identifies and manages priorities and task assignments across multiple projects and is the primary contact for user/client interactions
-Puts together and Builds internal project teams through a clear roles & responsibilities charter
-Identifies and negotiates project resource needs, timelines, budgets and project specfications
-Is accountable for project-specific deliverables including qualification, validation and handing over within agreed upon timelines
-Prepares a guidance and tracks cash flow projections across multiple projects
-Identifies, shortlists and negotiates with vendors for multiple projects
-Prepares project timelines identifying all significant activities, resources and milestones
-Analyzes critical path, and identifies potential issues, risks and facilitates a solution
-Troubleshoots and directs the resolution of technology transfer issues
-Participates in the design and implementation of various aspects within the department
-Provides input for the development of departmental objectives

Technical / Functional Skills :
-Collaborates with Design verticals within the department and external partners such as consultants/PMCs ; to manage project expectations, schedules, executables, and deliverables.
-Collaborates with various other departments to identify and resolve operational issues
-Leads project team initiatives for new and/or system upgrade implementation
-Ensures project teams have sufficient representation for user/client departments
-Collaborate with various project stakeholders to prioritize project proposals that align with business objectives
-Routinely communicates progress of projects against established quality, budgets and timelines to the stakeholders
-Ensures that new systems are implemented within allocated budgets and timeline forecasts.

3- Manager-Process Engineering-Projects

Job Description:
-Participates in understanding process requirements of the client and develops solutions to achieve the objectives.
-Develops long term process strategies, along with manufacturing and R&D for products under development.
-Reviews technology platforms for scale-up and optimization of manufacturing facilities and pilot plants.
-Provide guidance to the team on advances in process technology and evaluate new vendors and technology for fermentation, protein purification, chromatography, chemistry, water systems, piping design and process safety.
-Review and supervises progress at execution site in line with the specifications set forth in the design documentation

Technical / Functional Skills :
-Develop process flow diagrams
-Review calculations of and develop mass and heat balances
-Review design of water systems, process equipment (reactors, heat exchangers, evaporators,)
-Determine process control system and control philosophy
-Review P&IDs with the other disciplines (manufacturing, mechanical and instrumentation,)
-Review calculations of pipe diameters, pressure drops in piping
-Prepare process specification for control valves, safety devices and instruments
-Review and approves all process related documents prepared by the Project engineer
-Prepare operating manuals including process descriptions
-Participate in safety analysis
-Assist Instrumentation and Manufacturing groups in the development and programming of control sequences for all system-controlled processes and equipment
-Review control system changes and assure appropriate documentation is developed.

Job Description:
-Provide Process engineering support for the URS, FDS, DQ, IQ, OQ and start-up of and upgrades to Process equipments and process control systems.
-Participate in design, FATs, SATs, commissioning, and validation efforts.
-Assists client groups in the development of control sequences for all system-controlled processes and equipment.
-Participates in site discussions and execution, measurements to ensure that quality and specifications of design are met.
-Reports to Manager- Process Engineering Technical / Functional Skills

Candidate Profile :
-The ideal candidate should be a diploma in chemical or petro-chemical engineering or BSc with chemistry, biochemistry with 1 to 2 years experience
-Should able to handle trouble shoot operations and function as a part of the team
-Should able handle the day to day activities of the production
-Male candidates preferred as this job involves night shifts

Job Description:
-Good knowledge and understanding about the mechanism, action of various drugs, cell signaling, gene expression and regulatory pathways.
-Expertise in metabolic / respiratory-inflammation pathways or experience in drug discovery will be an added advantage.
-To lead and advance small molecule drug candidates into pre-clinical and clinical studies.
-Required to provide scientific and creative leadership, to co-ordinate multiple scientific areas for preclinical screening and characterization of novel chemical entities as potential candidates for development. To apply state of art scientific methods and knowledge to drug discovery.

11- Toxicology


Location: Bengaluru /Bangalore
Education Qualification:
-Hands-on experience in designing and directing GLP tox and/or safety pharmacology studies involving protein and/or small molecule drug candidate.
-Ph.D. with 4+ years in toxicology preferably from industry.
-Knowledge and experience in regulatory submission is highly desirable
-Self-motivated, attention to detail, dedication to quality, and willingness to learn
-Ability to work independently and interdependently in a supportive multi-functional team setting.
-Working knowledge of GLP regulations
-Demonstrated in vivo experience
-Highly developed medical writing skills

Responsibilities :
-Design, conduct and carry out preclinical safety/toxicology and other preclinical studies
-Coordinate, supervise, and manage contract GLP toxicology and safety pharmacology studies
-Responsible for protocol generation, initial selection and negotiation with CROs, study monitoring, data collection and analysis, and report writing/drafting
-Assist preparation of preclinical portion of regulatory submissions such CTD, BLA and IND.
-carrying out risk assessments on potential new drugs to see they are safe to test on humans;
-assessing whether the benefits of the drug outweigh the risks;
-carrying out work on cells and tissues before tests are carried out on animals and then humans.
