Responsibilities

Development Engineering Manager at CST India. This is a high visibility role in a critical area, and candidate will be required to lead and manage a team of developers for the development of client-server based applications.

Experience - Essential

* Should be BTech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering from a top-notch institute (IITs, BITS Pilani, RECs) with 10 years of hands-on work experience with reputed software product companies.
* Proven expertise in leading a technical team of well qualified engineers
* Good motivator and leader who can switch into an individual contributor role when required
* Should have excellent communication skills (will need to interact with remote teams)
* Clear understanding of OOPS and J2EE concepts
* Experience in developing applications (design to delivery) on multi layered architecture
* Excellent programming skills, should have worked for a considerable period of time as a programmer/developer
* Experience in programming in Flex and Action Script
* Practical experience in AMF/SOAP and Application Server
* Practical experience in working with databases

Experience - Desirable

* Exposure to development environments like Eclipse / Flex Builder and design tools
* Should be comfortable in different concepts of source code management (Version control)
