Jogging is one of the exercise methods you can follow to improve your health and stay fit. Regular jogging will help to reduce your weight and improve the cardio-vascular system also. The article lists the right time to do jogging, the Do s and Dont's of jogging, the jogging dress and shoes etc.
Jogging is simple, easy and good for the mind as well as the body. It needs only a good pair of training shoes and is one of the most effective ways of keeping fit.
How to start jogging :- Drink a glass of warm water with sour lime and a teaspoon of honey. It will help you maintain your electrolyute balance, throw out toxins from your body and shed excess weight.
Dress during jogging :- Wear unrestrictive cloths, soft shoes and absorbent socks, readymade jogging suits, suits, preferably of soft cotton. They not only protect your body from the cold but also absorb perspiration thereby cooling the body. Men/boys can also wear shorts and soft cotton ‘T” shirts. Women/girls can wear slawar-kameez and other suitable outfits.
What should you do while jogging :- Get outdoor and warm up with about 10 minutes of flexible exercises. Jog at a steady pace about 10 kmph. To begin with you could go for 3 to 5 kms. Gradually you could increase your distance according to the time at your disposal and capacity, strength and stamina.
Observe your breathing. You should not pant. Monitor your pulse. Do not compete with others. If you feel giddy or uneasy stand and take rest. By all means jog in company but do not talk while jogging. Breathe strictly through your nose. Do not jog on a road having heavy vehicular traffic. For you will inhale carbon monoxide and that will do you more harm than good.
Best time for jogging :- In Indian conditions, the best time to hog is before 8 in the morning or 5 in the evening. You should not jog in the afternoon. Remember that jogging is not running.
For better results job every alternate days. Rest days will give you a chance to recover energy. After jogging, rest and have some fruit juices or fresh butter milk.

Coupled with a proper diet jogging helps you control or lose weight.

In other words, jogging will make you feel good all over and result in a healthier, longer life.
The caution is that if you are above 60, asthamatic, cardiac patient or obese, do not jog. Instead, with stomach in, legs straight and arms swinging, walk into shape, Brisk walking is as good as jogging.
So there the so many benefits of jogging where we can physically keep ourselves fit. So why not we follow this right from this moment.
