About Taslima:

Taslima who is a writer started writing when she was 15. She began her career by penning poetry for magazines. She completed her medical degree in 1984. She belongs to Bangladesh. She worked there for 8 years and continued her writing. She severely criticized religious, tradition and customs that discriminate against women. Due to Islamic fundamentalist launched ant anti Taslima campaign in 1990 Bangladeshi government asked her to quit writing if she wants to continue her job as a doctor. Taslima resigned job and continued writing. She was forced to leave her state since a case was filed against her with non-bailable arrest. She is a person who does not believe in God, she does rely only on her inner strength.
