Admission Notice – 2007-08
College of Engineering and Technology (COET), Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University announces admission to
following engineering programmes
· B.Tech, Computer Sciences & Engineering
· B.Tech, Information Technology
· B.Tech, Electronics & Communication.
Eligibility: 10+ 2 from a recognized Board with atleast 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST candidates) with Physics and
Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Application Form along with Information Bulletin shall be available from following places w.e.f. 7th August 2007 on
payment of Rs 700/- by Demand Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, BGSB University Rajouri
· Office of Assistant Registrar (Academic Affairs) ,BGSB University Rajouri - 185131
· Camp Office, Opp. Channi Himmat Bye-pass Road, Jammu (J&K) - 180015
· Regional office, Parray Pora, Opposite SSRB Srinagar Kashmir. - 190005
Last date for submission of Application Form at the above-mentioned places, complete in all respects along with
requisite documents is 27th August 2007. Admissions shall be made through a Common Entrance Test (CET) which
shall be conducted on 2nd September 2007 at following venues
· Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri (J&K)
· K.B Public School, Near BGSBU Camp Office, Opp. Channi Himmat Bye-pass Road, Jammu (J&K).
· Regional Office, Parray Pora, Opposite SSRB Srinagar Kashmir.
Candidates shall be required to collect Admit card for appearing in Common Entrance Test (CET) personally at
the time of submission of application form. Those candidates who submit application forms by post shall be required to
collect Admit card from office of Registrar, BGSB University Rajouri, on 29th August 2007 between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
List of provisionally selected candidates shall be displayed on Notice Board of the College of Engineering &
Technology on 6th September 2007 and shall also be available on University website www.bgsbuniversity.org .
Counseling in order of merit shall be conducted from 10th September 2007 to 12th September 2007 at College of
Engineering and Technology (COET), University campus, Rajouri.
