Interview with Al-mushrif constructions, Dubai

Hi,
I am Shankar. I had gone to an interview for the Al-mushrif constructions,Abu dhabi for the Safety engineer post before a couple of months. It was conducted in the Transcontinental international consultancy, cheppak,chennai.I had been called for that interview through both telephone and email.I went to the interview place with the copy of the mail which was sent by the consultancy.Actually I have no abroad working experience.But most of the candidates who had come to that interview had enormous period of working experience in abroad.My turn came to meet the client for interview.I went in.The following discussion happened in that interview hall.
We shared our greetings together first. Then,
Interviewer:(By seeing the collection of my certificates)What have you done?
Me:Basically i have done B.E and i did OSHAS in distance education sir.
Interviewer:What about your past working experience?
Me:I have a couple of years experience in Siva constructions and presently I am working in U.R.C constructions,Trichy sir.
Interviewer:What is the nature of your job?
Me:As a Safety engineer,
1.Should take Tool box meeting daily
2.Should make sure that all the employee and labors working with proper safety equipments and PPE.
3.Should maintain a clear record which should contain the daily,weekly,monthly safety working hours took place in the working site.Then the daily record should carry the attendance of the day, minor accident happened at that day. The weekly record is the collection of the daily records for a week and the monthly record is the collection of the 4 week records.
4.Should arrange for the safety awareness contest, slogan publishment.
5.Should conduct the safety every year etc., sir.
Interviewer:What is tool box meeting?
Me: This is a meeting which should be conducted by any safety department official daily without fail.In our company we take seven different topic in the week days to teach the labors and employees about safety in the working place sir. The topics will be bearing the topic of any work such as welding,cutting,height work etc.,sir.
Interviewer:You have the Hazop certificate! U have knowledge about that?
Me:Yes sir. Its about personal safety of every man sir.
Interviewer:okay.As you don't have any abroad experience we have to take you only as a trainee. Do you agree?
Me:Yes sir. Thank you.
After interview they gave the offer letter to me.In that,all details about the salary,accomodation and travel allowance had been given in that.But after some days they put my visa to go and work in that company in hold due to that contract for which they took me to work has been canceled.
