This article describes about the health benefits of Ayurvedic mixture called as Triphala.



Ayurveda is an Indian method of treating diseases which is well known for years.
Triphala is a herb which is extremely useful. It is available as Triphala powder, capsules, etc. Behada, amla, harada are the 3 consituents of triphala.
Harada though bitter in tasting, its effects on body are very good.

Amalaki reduces pitta.
Haritaki helps to manage vata.
Bibhitaki reduces kapha.
