this is my interview experience with CSC( computr sciences corporation)
there were three rounds
1.written test
2.group discussion
3.technical cum HR round
i cleared written test. written test will be little tough.. for different branch there will be different papers written test. The package was 3.6 lakhs per annum.
there different sections in written test.. aptitude technical, reasoning..
since lot people attended the interview.. and lot many cleared the written test they canceled gd round and next round was technical cum HR
My interview..
I entered the room. I was very nervous I had attended Caritor earlier and cleared it. there were three members sitting. They asked me to take my seat.. I said thanks.
First Question they asked
1.Tell me about yourself..
I answered it.
susequent questions were
2. do you knw DBMS?
I said no. I said I am from Electronics dept. I don't have any idea.
They explained me about DBMS
3.do you knw C programming?
ME: Yes basics since i learned it in my 1st semister
4. Can you write a simple C program you know?
ME: Yes,, I wrote palindrome program and explained them. they were satisfied
5. another guy asked -- Do you have any other offers?
Me; Yes Caritor..
6.Then Why do want to join CSC?
ME; Its package is 2.8 and yours 3.6 I smiled
7. They all smiled and one asked-- you give more importance to money?
ME: Money is always important but work is most important.. I managed to convince them why i want to join CSC
8.There is 2 years bond are you ready?
ME: Yes
9. ok we will get back to you thank you
ME: Thanks.. smiled at all of them and came out
They announced the result.. I got selected,,, I was very happy.. i was on cloud 9 on that day..
